Jane Hevelow Lockwood, 92, of Cecilton, MD passed away peacefully at home on September 2, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Jane was born on March 14, 1933 in Cecilton to the late Jesse and Rachel (Husfelt) Hevelow.  She was raised on a farm north of Cecilton as was a 1950 graduate of Cecilton High School. She married Harry Lockwood in 1952 and together they raised their family in Hacks Point.  She loved to take trips to Delaware Park and was an avid Orioles fan.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Harry Lockwood, 4 siblings, William 'Sox' Hevelow, Anna Hevelow, Edgar 'Duty' Hevelow and Elsie Blanchfield.

She is survived by her daughter Kathleen Myers (James) of Earleville, MD, grandsons, James Myers, Jr. and Kevin Myers, and a great granddaughter Taylor Myers.

A private graveside service will be held in Zion Cemetery, Cecilton, MD.
