James A. Wright, 87 of Massey, MD passed away on October 18, 2021 at Peak Healthcare at Chestertown.

Mr. Wright was born on October 26, 1933 in Wilmington, DE, son of the late James B. and Anna Hunter Wright. He was raised in Queen Anne's County and has lived in Massey since the 1970's.  Mr. Wright worked as a groundskeeper and hunting guide for Great Oak and enjoyed carving decoys.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his longtime companion Virginia B. DiRocco and his sister Patricia Drury.

Mr. Wright is survived by his brother Marion Stubbs; nephew and nieces that care for him, Gene Drury, Breda Drury and Susan Plank and great nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on November 1, 2021 11 to 12 noon in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, Galena, MD, where service will begin at 12 noon.  Burial will follow in Crumpton Cemetery.
