James Metcalfe Weller, 64 of Crumpton, MD passed away on January 18, 2022 at home.

Jimmie was born on July 19, 1957, son of Barbara Pauley and Howard Weller.  Jimmie was an avid horseman, starting at age 14 on weekends while in school with his uncle Frank Heverin, horse shoeing.  In 1975 he enlisted In the U.S. Army, serving 4 years.  He has worked for many horsemen over the years, his last with Jim King Racing of Harrington.

He was preceded in death by his beloved niece Brandy Wallace.

Jimmie is survived by his daughters, Betty Anne Reed (Mark) and Kimberly Fern Nistler (Rick); grandchildren, Connor, Cooper, Ella, Jameson, Keagan and McCauley; mother Barbara Willson Pauley, father Howard Weller and wife Barbara, sister and brother in law Terri and Robin Wallace and many cousins.

A service celebrating the lives of Jimmie and his sister Terri will be held on Saturday, January 29, 11 am at Crumpton Fire House, Crumpton, MD, with visitation from 10 to 11 am.
