J. Goldey Coleman 70 of Millington, MD passed away peacefully at home on October 24, 2021.

Goldey was born on May 20, 1951, son of the late Thomas N Coleman and Betty Jean Schelts Coleman. He was raised in Millington, MD and was a 1969 graduate of Galena High School. After high school Goldey enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he served from 1972 to 1975. Following his honorable discharge, he attended computer college near Washington D.C. He returned to Millington and worked in various professions including chickens and hatchlings, truck driving, construction and RV Sales. He enjoyed playing his harmonica, working on his '68 corvette and loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and his dog, Mary.

Along with his parents, he is preceded by his brother Thomas Nickerson Coleman Jr; nephew Sgt. Jarrett Thompson and his beloved dog Mary.

Goldey is survived by his daughters, Morgan Coleman of Millington and Brittany Coleman (Kevin Brantley) of Worton; their mother Sharon VanZant; sisters Judith Thompson of Millington, and Jan Pearl Massey (John) Chestertown., grandchildren Waylon Blankenship and Macy Blankenship; and nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on November 6 at 3 pm in Massey Cemetery, Massey, MD.
