Ivan Lee Meeks, 77 of Worton, MD passed away on October 3, 2024 at Fayette Health, Baltimore, MD.

Mr. Meeks was born on February 24, 1947, son of the late Ivan Wilmer Meeks and Esther Wiltbank Meeks.  Ivan was a 1965 graduate of Chestertown High School.  In 1966 he was called to duty with the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam.  He was honorably discharged in 1972. Lee returned to Kent County where he worked as a butcher for A & P and Super Fresh.

Lee was a member of the Frank M. Jarman American Legion Post 36.  He enjoyed crabbing, fishing, vegetable gardening, NASCAR, along with football and baseball

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Harry Dennis "Hop" Meeks and a sister Charlotte Veasey.

Lee is survived by his brothers and sister in laws Larry & Nancy Meeks and Thomas & Marie Meeks, several loving nieces and nephews and best friend Pete.

Services will be held privately.
