Inez Quick Heine, 94 of Massey, MD passed away on October 26, 2021 at the Resorts at Chester River Manor, Chestertown, MD.

Mrs. Heine was born on November 21, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Archer and Charlotte Quick.  Inez was raised in Brooklyn where she was a 1947 graduate of Syracuse University. She had worked as a book illustrator, society reporter and women's editor of Newsday, an elementary school teacher and also started her own business Heine Marine Electronics all on Long Island.  Inez lived a long and adventurous life, enjoying cruises and traveling to Alaska and Iceland.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years Max Heine in 1986, her son David Heine in 2020; grandson Doug Toombs and a brother Stanley Quick.

Inez is survived by her daughter Kathy Marino, daughter in law Vanny Heine (who cared for her), sister-in-law, Marion Quick, grandchildren, Jimmy, Johnathan, and Meghan DeMoss (Ronnie) and great granddaughters Kelsie and Alyson.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 31 at 2 pm in the Galena Cemetery, Galena, MD, with Pastor Mark Hansen officiating.
