Granville Harrison Wilds, Sr. 95 of Galena, MD passed away on February 18, 2026 at Chestertown Nursing and Rehab, Chestertown, MD.

Mr. Wilds was born on July 21, 1930 in Wilmington, DE, son of the late Harrison and Kathleen Doherty Wilds.  He began working at the age of eleven for area business including Delmarva Sash and Door and for Kent County at Worton Park.  Mr. Wilds was an advocate for the blind.

He enjoyed fishing and dancing at the VFW and was a charter member of the Crumpton Vol. Fire Company.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Harry Calvin Wilds and a sister Helen Collona.

He is survived by his children, Granville H. Wilds, Jr., Mary Louise Wilds and Theresa Ann Graciano; 4 grandchildren Justin (Kristin), Tyler (Abby), Sabrina (Giavoni) and Kelly (Chad) and 6 great grandchildren Rachel, Kamerin, Sarah, Garrett, Makenzie and Shelby.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 27 at 2pm in Crumpton Cemetery, Crumpton, MD.
