Gordon K. Wallace, Sr., 68 of Chestertown, MD passed away on July 31, 2021 at home.

Gordon was born on May 28, 1953 in Coleman, MD, son of the late Otha Wallace, Sr. and Doris Wilson.  He was a 1972 graduate of Kent County High School.  On June 15, 1972 he entered the U.S. Marine Corp. and was honorably discharged on May 30, 1974.  He returned to Chestertown where he worked for David Bramble, ConAgra and Dixon Valve.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bruce Green and Charles Edward Wallace and a sister Shirley Wallace.

Gordon is survived by his children, Wayne Gross and his wife Nicole of Barclay, Leshell Wallace of Glen Burnie and Gordon K. Wallace, Jr of Chestertown; brothers and sisters, Sharon Scott of Chestertown, Henry Wallace of Jacksonville, NC, Dinah Hicks (Alfred) of Chestertown, Otha Wallace, Jr. (Erica) of Delaware, Bonda Brooks of Smyrna, DE, JoAnne Wilson-Davis of Coleman and Donita Farmer of Baltimore; 3 grandchildren, Tavion, Jayia and Nickai Gross; uncle Harvey Wilson; aunt Amy Wilson; sister in law Odessa Green and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A viewing will be held on Friday, August 6 from 6 to 8 pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD.
