Glenwood James Thomas, age 85, of Rock Hall, MD passed away at Shore Medical Center in Chestertown, MD on April 22, 2023

He was born on November 28, 1937 to the late Glenwood Joshua Thomas and Edna Kelley Thomas. He was preceded by his sister Elizabeth Ann Middleton, brother-in-law Jack Middleton, nephew Jackie Middleton and great nephew, Brandon Middleton.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years Ann Lee Elburn Thomas, daughters, Stephanie Thomas Nichols and her husband Eric and Jennifer Thomas Atkinson and her husband Chris. In addition, he leaves behind five grandchildren, C.J. Atkinson and wife Kaitlyn, Abbey Atkinson, Josh Atkinson, Gabe Nichols and Alex Nichols, also a great grandson, Tripp Atkinson, a sister Ella Garvine and husband Jack and several sisters in law, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Glenwood, affectionately known as "Trapper" was a commercial waterman his entire life. He also served in the Army National Guard. He was a member of the Maryland Waterman's Association, and St. John's Catholic Church. His greatest love was his family.

A celebration of life will be held on July 15 at 1:00 pm at the Rock Hall VFC, Rock Hall, MD.
