George Allen Trinks, 81 of Dover, DE, formerly of Worton, MD passed away on August 23, 2026 at home.

Allen was born on October 16, 1944, son of the late Edwin R. Trinks, Sr. and Hilda D. Watts Trinks.  He was raised in Worton where he worked on area farms. He loved sports and was a fanatic about the Baltimore Orioles and Minnesota Vikings. He was known for his candy apple red 1957 Chevy.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Edwin Trinks, Jr. and sisters Frances Trinks and Dorothy Winant and a nephew Tyrone Brown.

Allen is survived by brothers, William F. Trinks and Marvin J. Trinks, both of Worton; a sister who cared for him, Linda Leonard of Clayton, DE, and nephews, Philip Trinks and B.J. Trinks.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, from 11 am to 12 pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, Galena, MD where funeral service will begin at 12 pm. Burial will follow in Still Pond Cemetery.
