Frederick 'Skip' Sultzbach, 93 of Galena, MD passed away on January 13, 2024 at the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Chestertown.

Skip was born on July 12, 1930 in Upper Darby, PA, son of the late Frederick D. and Mildred Palmer Sultzbach.  He was a 1948 high school graduate of Girard College and a 1963 graduate of Penn State.  Skip worked for General Electric for 30 years.  He was active with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Davis Creek Yacht Club for 33 years.  He enjoyed boating.  He and his wife moved to Galena in 2000 where he oversaw the building of homes in Dogwood Village.  Skip was an active member of Olivet United Methodist Church in Galena.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Orenda Sultzbach; brother Robert Sultzbach; sister Elaine Gruener and sister-in-law Ruth Stretch.

Skip is survived by his nephews David Stretch and Robert Stretch.

Service will be held privately.
