Evelyn Rosetta Briscoe, 71 of Rock Hall, MD passed away on November 18, 2020 at the Resorts at Chester River Manor, Chestertown, MD.

Ms. Briscoe was born on September 3, 1949, daughter of the late Robert Sylvester 'Sonny' Briscoe and Martha Henry.  She was a life resident of Kent County where she worked as a seasonal laborer for area processing plants.  She enjoyed crocheting, playing cards and crossword puzzles.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Archer Gland.

Ms. Briscoe is survived by her children, Julian 'Tony' Rios, Jr. of Chestertown, Tanjernika Scott of Chestertown and Shari Scott of Dover, DE; sisters, Edna Briscoe of Rock Hall, Margaret Perkins of Chestertown and Linda Briscoe of Chestertown; brothers McKinsey Leo Briscoe of Newark, DE, Reginald 'Reggie' Briscoe of Chestertown and Melvin 'Tony' Thompson of Chestertown; 2 grandchildren, Wayne Whye, Jr. and Tylir Cunningham; a great grandson Wayne Whye III and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A viewing will be held on Friday, November 27 from 11 to 12 pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD where funeral service will begin at 12 pm.  Burial will follow in Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery, Georgetown Rd., Chestertown, MD
