Esther Leona Cothin Collins, 90 of Millington, MD passed away on September 12, 2020 at home.

Mrs. Collins was born on June 3, 1930 in Grant, VA, daughter of the late Colonel E. Adams and Leona Rutherford Adams.  She was raised in Grant and after her marriage to Rev. Wayne J. Cothin, Sr, they moved to Cecil County, MD in the 1950's.  After the death of her husband Wayne in 1982 she moved to Millington where she later married Charles Collins, Sr.

Mrs. Collins was a life member of Millington American Legion and the Ladies Auxiliary of Millington VFW.

Along with her husbands, she was preceded in death by 2 sons, Colonel E. Cothin and Donald D. Cothin and 4 grandsons, Andrew Cothin, Bobby Powell, Jr., Cameron Davis and Jason Ellis.

Mrs. Collins is survived by her children, Rita Davis (Eddie) of Elkton, MD, Judy Embert of Millington, Wayne J. Cothin, Jr., of Millington, Debbra C. Evans (David) of Solomons and Jeanette Lynn Cothin (Chava Alvarez) of Kennedyville; 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Services will be held privately.
