Eric Wayne Bigelow, 39 of Rock Hall, MD passed away February 4, 2022 at home. He was born on April 28, 1982 in Easton, MD, the son of Shelly Bigelow Fleming.

He was a loving son, brother and friend, who will be greatly missed. He was a loving grandson to 'mom' his grandmother.

Eric was a person who was always willing to help others without hesitation. He loved working on the water with many watermen of Rock Hall and surrounding areas. He was a person who really loved the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather "Pop" Jim Bigelow, sister Vikki Fleming, brother Tony Fleming, his paternal grandparents, James and Thelma Bigelow and his maternal grandparents Carl and Helen Happersett.

Eric is survived by his mother, Shelly, his grandmother 'mom' Louise Bigelow, uncle Jamie Bigelow (Rita), cousins Kathleen Bigelow (Matt), Amanda Conley (Joey) and Matt Bigelow (Brynn) and Michael Conley and Jaxon Johnson and many friends who he was acquainted with.

For everyones safety masks are recommended.

Visitation will be held on March 5 from 11 to 12 noon in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, Galena, MD, where funeral service will begin at 12 noon.  Burial will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery, Kent, Chestertown.  A reception will be held following the burial at Rock Hall American Legion.
