Elsie Margaret Slater, 92 of Earleville, MD, passed away on June 18, 2021 at Peak Healthcare, Chestertown, MD.

Elsie was born on June 9, 1929 in Chester, PA, daughter of the late Alexander and Lena Gallan Slater.  She was raised in Prospect Park, PA, graduated high school and college.  She worked as a receptionist and dental assistant for dental office in Springfield, PA, a receptionist for Heron Point and a hostess at the Granary Restaruant (which she enjoyed).  As an infant her family had traveled to Kent County where she made it her home in 1989.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Sandy Slater.

Elsie is survived by her 3 sons, John Phillips (Lynette), Stuart Phillips and Andrew Phillips (Tammi) all of Earleville; 2 grandchildren Victoria Phillips and Slater Phillips and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held privately.
