Eileen T. Riley, 84 of Abingdon, MD formerly of Galena, MD passed away on April 24, 2022 at the University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore.

Mrs. Riley was born on June 27, 1937 in Baltimore, MD, daughter of the late Patrick J. and Margaret McDonnell Ryder.  After graduating she furthered her education at business school. She worked as a toll collector for the Bay Bridge for many years, while living on Kent Island and after moving to Galena in 2001 she enjoyed working for Gabriel's Gift Shop. Mrs. Riley was a member of St. Dennis R.C. Church, she enjoyed crafts, decorating and baking especially her brownies.

Along with her parents, she was preceded by her husband of 53 years, Charles G. Riley; a son, Marty J. Riley and her brothers Joey and John Ryder.

Mrs. Riley is survived by her children Patty Konoza (Max) of Pasadena, MD, Brian Riley (Marcie) of Galena, Mary Stone (Bob) of Abington, MD and Susie Jackman (Chris) of Kennedyville; a sister in law Doris Ryder; 8 grandchildren Christina Riley, John Raffo, Heather Riley, Stevie Riley, Heidi Lawson, Ben Owens, Sammy Jackman and Casey Jackman and 4 great grandchildren, Bryson Raffo, John Keefer, Eric Keefer and Maddie Owens and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on May 10 at 1pm at the Galena Fire House, E. Cross St. Galena, MD.
