Dorothy M. Blevins, 93 of Betterton, MD passed away on July 27, 2021 at home.

Mrs. Blevins was born on August 26, 1927, daughter of the late Thomas C. and Inez Haughay McNutt.  She was raised in Harford County where she graduated in 1945 from Bel Air High School.  In 1947 she married Webb Blevins and moved to Delaware where she worked for Frank Robino Builders and Wilson Contracting Co. Inc until retiring and moving to Betterton in 1978.

Dorothy was a member of Chestertown Presbyterian Church and Victory Chapter 40, Order of Eastern Star-Aberdeen, MD.  She loved to travel.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Webb Blevins and her grandson Stephen M. Blevins.

Dorothy is survived by her son and daughter in law, Stephen W. and Bernadette Blevins of Betterton, sister Ruth Derick of South Dennis, MA; brother, Thomas C. McNutt of New Mexico; grandson, Kaleb Schultz and granddaughter in law, Tracie Blevins.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 31 from 10 to 11 am in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St., Galena, MD, with funeral service at 11 am.  Burial will follow in Still Pond Cemetery.
