Donald M. Stevenson, Sr., better known as Buckie passed away on November 13, 2025 in Conway, SC.  He was 80 years old.

Buckie was born on December 28, 1944 in Tarswell County, VA, son of the late Arlin and Katherine Lester Stevenson.  At the age of 5 his parents moved to Elkton, MD where he later graduated from Elkton High School.  For several years he worked at his father's furniture store on Main St. in Elkton until he began working for Elkton Auto Parts which led him to his 39-year career with Cecil Auto Parts-NAPA.  He retired in 2004.

Buckie truly loved working and continued doing odd jobs after his retirement.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Barbara Duff Stevenson in 2024.

Buckie is survived by his son and daughter in law, Donnie and Kim Stevenson; 3 grandsons Matthew Stevenson (Paula), Shane Stevenson and Joseph Hitchens; and his siblings, Bill Stevenson (Amy) of Elkton, MD, Walter Stevenson (Linda) of Joppa, MD, Betty Stevenson of Bear, DE, Gary Stevenson of Elkton, MD and Larry Stevenson (Jennifer) of Elkton, MD.

A graveside service will be held at St. Paul's Cemetery, Earleville, MD, day and time to be announced.
