Donald Joseph Lynd, 62 of Chestertown, MD passed away on October 31, 2021 at home.

Mr. Lynd was born on October 12, 1959 in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late Harry Jacob Lynd and Charlotte Mary Garson Lynd.  He was employed by Federal Express as a courier for 35 years.  Mr. Lynd enjoyed history, planes, watching boats pass and loved baseball and cycling.  He was a member of Calvary Chapel, Chestertown.

Along with his parents, he was preceded by a son Brandon Lynd.

He is survived by his wife of 10 years Donna Betts Lynd; children, Shawn Harrison (Emily), Zachary Lynd, Melaine Lynd, Tyler Zapach and Ashley Zapach; grandchildren, Gloria, Aidan, Joshua, and Micha Harrison, 5 brothers, Harry Lynd, Joe Lynd, Tom Lynd, Jerry Lynd and David Lynd and a sister Jane Lynd.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 6 at 11 am at Calvary Chapel, Chestertown, MD.
