Debra Lynn Williams of Betterton passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on the 15 ^th of December.  She was 70 years old.

She was born in Linton, Indiana on July 20 ^th , 1952.  During her formative years she lived in New Orleans and later on in California where she remained until she relocated to Betterton in 1986. For the majority of her adult life, she worked in the food services and hospitality industries.  Her culinary skills were extraordinary.

She was predeceased by her father, Leonard R. Vincent of Kentucky and a younger sister, Karen Vansant of Oceanside, CA.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jake Williams, her mother, Anna A. McGuire and stepdaughter, Joyce De Vader, all of Betterton, a son, Steven Trotter of Lebanon, OR, a grandson, Michael J. Trotter of Greensboro and two great grandsons.  She is also survived by a very special friend, Roselyn Williams of Clearwater. FL.

Debra was a life member of C. Henry Price II, American Legion Unit #246 and the Gold Wing Road Riders Association.  She had been a member of the B.P.O.E. Lodge #2474 of Chestertown for twenty five years.
