Deborah D. Russell, 55 of North East, MD passed away on January 25, 2021 at home.

Mrs. Russell was born on June 16, 1965 in Fairfield, Connecticut, daughter of Robert Edward Lee and Nancy Constance Thistle. In 1996 she moved to North East where she raised her family.

Her greatest joy was time spent with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother Bobby Lee.

Along with her parents Deborah is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Peter S. Russell; children, Rebecca DeVito and Todd Lee (Anna); her siblings, Suzanne, Richard, Paul, Carolyn and Linda and her special grandchildren Brayden, Charlie and Joseph.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 29 from12 to 1 pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD, where funeral service will begin at 1 pm.  Burial in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Earleville, MD.
