Dawn Lyons Farrugia, 70 of Phoenix, AZ passed away on September 13, 2022 at her summer home in Earleville, MD.

Mrs. Farrugia was born on May 7, 1952 in Queens, NY, daughter of the late Howard and Evelyn Hoel Lyons.  Dawn worked as an investment advisor assistant for Edward Jones and as an administrative assistant for Weichert Realty.

Mrs. Farrugia was a member of Scottsdale Bible Church, where she enjoyed bible studies.  She was also a member of the West View Shores Civic Association.  Dawn enjoyed reading, crafts, scrapbooking, needlepoint, sewing and crocheting.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Ronald Farrugia, children, Amy Farrugia of AZ and Daniel Farrugia of MD; stepdaughters, Deanna Farrugia and Kim Mason both of NJ; sisters, Jill Gibbs and Susan Hawkins both of NY; a brother John Lyons of FL and 4 grandchildren.

A visitaion will be held on Saturday, September 24 from 12 to 1 pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 West Cross St. Galena, MD, where funeral service will begin at 1 pm.  Burial will follow in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Earleville, MD
