David Thompson, Jr., 59 of Kennedyville, MD passed away at home on December 13, 2022.

David was born on June 15, 1963 in Chestertown, son of the late David F. Sr. and Joyce Baker Thompson.  He was raised in Rock Hall and Baltimore, returning to Kent County in 1988.  He was a mason tender for Enterprise Masonry in Delaware and was a heavy equipment operator and commercial crabber.  He enjoyed NASCAR, watching Law & Order and Yellowstone but loved time with his grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Dwayne Thompson.

David is survived by his wife of 27 years, Donna Mooday Thompson; stepchildren, Christopher Baker (Kate) of Still Pond and Jeffery Baker (Shirl) of Worton; a sister Patricia Coleman of Chestertown; 3 brothers, Richard Thompson of Kennedyville, James Thompson (Janet) of Worton and Leslie Thompson of Chestertown and 5 grandchildren, Aubrey, Alexis, Karter, Kaysyn and Dahlia Baker.

Services will be held privately.
