David A. Raynor, 70 of Warwick, MD died on May 17, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving wife and family friends.

David was born on August 17, 1951 in Blenheim, SC, son of the late G. Howard and Mary Parker Raynor.  For 25+ years David worked for the Carrick family hauling lumber.  First at Carrick & Gabbe Lumber, Mitchellville, MD then at Hardwood Mills, Millington, MD.  For the last 24 years David put up a valiant fight against Multiple Sclerosis.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Georgia Cooksey (2004).

David is survived by his wife of 38 years, Marybeth Jarrell Raynor and six siblings, Martha Garner (Pete) of St. Leonard, MD, Ruth Wells (Gordon) of Elizabeth City, NC, Mitchell Raynor (Donna) of Dunkirk, MD, Carol Vaughn (Vaughn) of Greenwood, DE, Cindy Johnson (Mike) of Lusby, MD and Doug Raynor of Lusby, MD, 18 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 20 from 6 to 8 pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech and again on Saturday, May 21 from 12 to 1 pm, where funeral service will begin at 1pm.  Burial will follow in Galena Cemetery, Galena, MD.
