David Brian Milhorn, 49, of Kennedyville, MD passed away at home peacefully on May 25, 2025.

David was born December 22, 1975 in Wilmington, North Carolina, son of Frederick and Alison Beasley Milhorn.  At a young age his family moved to Delaware where he attended school at Caravel Academy.  He was a natural athlete who loved all sports, but especially baseball.  He played baseball at the collegiate level for Fairleigh Dickenson and Wilmington College, graduating with a B.A. in 1997.  After college he was invited to try out for the Chicago White Sox and Baltimore Orioles.  His love for sports continued throughout his life where he picked up golf and could always be found outside with his kids and coaching in various capacities in the community.  He was an avid Eagles fan, loved boating and was a wonderful handyman.  He never met a tool he couldn't use or something he couldn't fix.

He was a natural salesman and people person.  He worked for Stein Outdoor Advertising for over 10 years before purchasing New Castle Glass in 2024.  While he brought his passion for working with people to this new endeavor, his real passion was being with and supporting his family.  He was so proud of his two kids Chance and Carly.  He loved watching them play lacrosse and field hockey and was avid about their academics.  As proud as he was of their athletic achievements, he was even more proud of them being on the honor roll and the dean's lists.

David is preceded in death by his mother Alison Milhorn.

David is survived by his wife Alison MacKenzie; his children Chance Milhorn and Carly Milhorn; their mother Amy Milhorn; and his father Frederick Milhorn.
