Constance "Connie" Gossard, 61, of Galena, MD, lost her life Friday, April 30, 2021.

She was born in Wilmington, DE on February 10, 1960, daughter of the late Sigmund "Ziggy" Tomczak and Ada Callahan Tomczak. She had lived most of her life in Chester Harbor until moving to Galena in 2016.  She worked as a waitress at Molly's.

Connie was a beautiful person inside and out.  She loved going to the beach, and the slots, dancing, screwdrivers and most importantly her husband, children and grandsons.

She beat a stroke and colon cancer in her early 40's.

Connie is survived by her husband of 8 years, Todd Gossard; children, Dana Smith (Skinny) of Millington, Donnie Joswick (Jenna) of Millington and Brittany Cheezum (D.J.) of Easton; brother, Ziggy Tomczak of Earleville, sisters, Kim Beck of Chestertown and Brenda Czarnecki of Newark, DE and 4 grandsons, Reid, Luca, Silas and Emmett.

A visitation will be held on Monday, May 10 from 11 am to 1 pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD, where service will be held at 1 pm.  Burial will be held privately.
