Constance M. English "Connie", 91, of Middletown, DE, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2023, at Christiana Wilmington Hospital.

Connie was born on July 21, 1932 to the late Frank and Frances Link. She was raised in the Chester, PA area where she met and married the love of her life, the late Russell F. English, Sr. They later moved to the New Castle where they continued to grow their family. Connie and Russell were married for 63 years, until his passing in 2014. Connie enjoyed her time spent at their family summer home in Elkview Shores. She loved her family, reading, gardening and specifically loved her roses.

She is survived by her 3 sons, Russell F. English Jr, Richard C. English, Ronald J. English (Amy), 3 daughters, Debbie Bradley (Bob), Tammy Ash (Jeff), Shelly Cleaver (Donnie), 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, sister Helen Litwa and brother Frank Link.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 9, from 11 to 12 in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD, where service will begin at 12 pm.  Burial will follow in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Earleville, MD
