Clifton Lee Stafford, Jr. 54 of Crumpton, MD passed away on August 28, 2023 at home.

Clifton was born on September 1, 1968, son of Bonnie Lord Stafford and Clifton L Stafford, Sr.  He was raised in Millington where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars, grilling, playing cards especially Phase 10 and loved spending time with his family and friends.  Clifton was a mechanic working for Chester River Diesel for the last 23 years.

Along with his parents, Bonnie and Clifton Stafford, Sr., he is survived by his wife of 2 months Mary Lynn Purnell-Stafford; daughters, Ashley Stafford, Danielle Stafford (David Wright) and Shania Wolfe; an adopted daughter, Caitlyn Clark; sister Pamela Voshell (Danny); granddaughter, Alaynah Stafford; a niece Lyndsey Blackiston; a nephew William Voshell and special friends, Linda and Steve Breitenbach.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, September 9 from 10 am to 12 pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, Galena, MD where funeral service will begin at 12 pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to the Galena Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
