Charlotte J. Coleman, 85 of Chestertown, Md passed away on November 4, 2023 at the Resorts at Chester River Manor.

Mrs. Coleman was born on August 12, 1938, daughter of the late Leonard S. and Araminta Wallace Voshell.   She was raised in Millington. She cleaned houses in the Chestertown area for many years.  Charlotte was a life member of American Legion Post 36 Ladies Auxiliary.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved her grandchildren.

Along with her parents she was preceded by 3 brothers Norman, Sam and Clifton Voshell.

Charlotte is survived by her children, Fred Beaver, Jr. (Debbie) of Chestertown, MD and Rose Taylor (Donald) of Dover, DE; a brother, William Voshell (Peg) of Millington, MD; 4 grandchildren, Carrie Johnson (Billy) , Tonya Paras (Tony), Jennifer Toston (Corey) and John Haines (Pat); 9 great grandchildren, JT, William and Erica Johnson, Jesse James, Jasmine, AJ and Michael Paras and Andrew and Emily Toston; sisters in law, Mary Voshell of Millington and Jackie Harding of TN and many nieces and nephews..

A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 13 at 12 noon in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to Compass Regional Hospice, 160 Coursevall Dr., Centreville, MD 21617
