Charles Bowen Starkey, 76 of Church Hill, MD, passed away on January 26, 2023 at Chestertown Nursing and Rehab. Chestertown, MD.

Charles was born on May 10, 1946, son of the late Bowen and Georgia Stowman Starkey.  He was a lifetime resident of Church Hill where he was a fixture on the corner.  He loved hunting, crabbing and vegetable gardening.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Starkey and sisters, Loretta Reynolds and Nancy Roe.

Charles is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Lee Gustafson of Ingleside; a niece Amy Geisel and nephews, Jack Gustafson, Richard Gustafson and Buddy Roe and a step nephew, Michael Gustafson.

Services will be held privately.
