Charles G. McGuire, Sr., 'Charlie', 60 of Chestertown, MD passed away on January 29, 2025 in Chestertown Nursing and Rehab.

Charlie was born on April 19, 1964, son of the late William Henry McGuire and Mary Louise Holding McGuire.  He was raised in Kent County but lived in Dover where he worked for Bylers Store.  He also drove workers to their job sites.  Charlie enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling and playing the guitar.

Along with his parents, he was preceded by a brother David Lee McGuire.

Charlie is survived by his son, Joseph McGuire and Charles McGuire, 2 brothers George T. McGuire and William Clayton McGuire (Cindy), and 13 grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Monday, February 3 from 10-11 am in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD where funeral service will begin at 11am. Burial will follow in Galena Cemetery.
