Charles E. Black, Jr., "Charlie Buck" 63 of Chestertown, MD passed away on November 18, 2022 at Accentcare Hospice, Newark, DE.

Charlie Buck was born on January 28, 1959, son of the late Charles E. Black, Sr. and Constance Patricia Brown.  He was a lifetime resident of Chestertown where he was a 1977 graduate of Kent County High School.  Upon graduating he enlisted in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged after 2 years of service. He worked for Kent County Roads and MD State Highway for over 20 years.  He also helped with Bucks Catering, his family's business and for many years as a Hunting Guide for Kurt Dill.

He was a member of the 501 Social Club and enjoyed playing baseball, softball and shooting pool.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Mark Wilson and James Black.

Charlie Buck is survived by his daughter Lakesha Black and 3 sisters, Erma Brown, Orgirina Graves and Danielle Black.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, December 3 from 10am to 12 noon in Union United Methodist Church, Coleman, MD where funeral service will begin at 12 noon.  Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Coleman.
