Carolyn Newcomb Foxwell, 83 of Chestertown, MD passed away on February 17, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Foxwell was born on January 8, 1942 in Baltimore, MD, daughter of the late Donald M. and Marie Cook Newcomb.  She was raised in Cambridge where she graduated from high school.  She worked at a bank in Cambridge and the unemployment office and for her husband's business Foxwell's Auto in Chestertown and Williams Chevrolet in Elkton.

She loved reading and helping others, enjoyed traveling to California and to Antique Car Shows.  She also helped start Weight Watchers in Chestertown.

Along with her parents, she was preceded by a brother Donny Newcomb and a sister Shirley Fastino.

Mrs. Foxwell is survived by her husband of 47 years, John M.M. Foxwell, children Shari Blakeney, Penny Younger and Brian Stevenson;  stepson John M.M. Foxwell, Jr.;  brother Joey Newcomb; 7 grandchildren, Michael, Sharon, Jennifer, Cole, Deborah, David and Karen and 5 great grandchildren.

Services will be held privately.
