Carole Dianne Coleman, 88 of Chestertown, MD passed away March 27, 2023.

Carole was the daughter of the late Walter and Bertha Harman.  She was born on January 12, 1935 in Williamstown, PA.  Her father was a coal miner.  The family moved to suburban Philadelphia in 1941. Carole attended school in Upper Darby and in 1957 married H. Robert Gordon.  They had two children, Lauren and Leslie.  In 1966 Carole remarried Wade Hague and had a son.  Mr. Hague passed away at the age of 42.  In 1978 Carole married C. Calvin Coleman, they were together for 26 years until his passing in 2004.

Carole worked as a secretary for Belmont Iron Works, and as a secretary for Kent County High School Guidance Office and Kent County School Board Office, retiring in 1996 after 22 years of service.

She was a member of Wesley Chapel Church, the Red Hat Society and the Washington College Women's League, she enjoyed traveling and playing Bridge, but most enjoyed the time spent with her family.

Along with her parents and husbands she was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Jean Jacob, brother, Robert Harman and companion Ernest Moore.

Carole is survived by her daughters, Lauren Gordon of Bel Air, MD and Leslie Szczybor (Paul) of Catonsville, MD; her son Wade Hague Jr. (Jennifer Baldwin) of Rock Hall, MD; companion Ben Heilman of Chestertown, MD.  Carole loved her family which included seven grandchildren, Jene` Andrews, Rocco Andrews, Dani Andrews, Nicholas Andrews, Savannah Hague-Midkiff (Jon), Tristan Hague (Stephanie) and Brooke Hague (Pedro Rodriguez) and 4 great grandchildren Toby & Eli Midkiff and Opal & Oliver Hague.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 30 from 12-1pm at Wesley Chapel Church, Rock Hall, MD, where funeral service will begin at 1pm.  A burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
