Bonnie Faye Stafford, 78, or Millington, MD passed away peacefully at her home on July 5, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
She born on March 7, 1948, in Chestertown, MD, to the late Norman and Edna Wilson Lord. Bonnie grew up in Kent and Queen Anne's counties and was a proud graduate of Sudlersville High School. After high school she married the love of her life Clifford Stafford. She worked as a seamstress and contractor for general clothing in Smyrna. Later she operated her own residential and house cleaning business. Her diligence and dedication in all her endeavors reflected in her strong work ethic and loving personality.
Bonnie found a lot of joy in playing cards—especially Phase 10—and delighted in putting together large puzzles. Family and friends will fondly remember her lively spirit at the bingo table, where her competitive yet cheerful nature always shone through. She also enjoyed her Saturday routine of going to breakfast and shopping. These trips were less about shopping and more about spending time with her family. She loved her family deeply and was happiest when surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she is preceded by her husband of 57 years, Clifford Stafford Sr. and her son Clifford Stafford Jr.
Bonnie is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Pamela Voshell and her husband Danny; her grandchildren, Lyndsey Blackiston, William Voshell, Ashley Stafford, and Danielle Wright; great-granddaughter, Alaynah Stafford, and daughter-in-law Lynn Stafford. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her, especially those fortunate enough to call her family.
