Bonnie Lou Lofland, 78 of Sudlersville, MD passed away on July 19, 2024 at Shore Medical Center at Chestertown.

Mrs. Lofland was born on January 31, 1946, daughter of the late Charles Lawrence Walls and Ethel Kemp Walls.   She was a lifetime resident of Sudlersville.  She had worked as a cashier for Food Right for many years.  Mrs. Lofland enjoyed shopping especially Walmart and was known for her rice pudding.  She loved time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Justus; and sisters Mary Frances Satterfield and Margaret Ann Satterfield.

Mrs. Lofland is survived by her husband of 52 years, George "Alfred" Lofland, daughter Cathy Crossley (Jimmy); son in law Chris Justus; sisters, Pat Shields (Jimmy) and Betty Calloway; brother Wayne Walls; 3 grandchildren, Kyle Crossley, Taylor 'Nikki' Crossley and Autumn Justus and 4 great grandchildren, Olivia, Ryleigh, Nola, Sawyer and Silas.

A viewing will be held on Friday, July 26 from 10 am to 12 pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD where funeral service will begin at 12 pm.  Burial will follow in Sudlersville Cemetery.
