Audrey F. Pearce, 83 of Cecilton, MD died Wednesday February 12, 2025 in hospice care at Christiana Hospital.

Audrey was born December 29, 1941 in Elkton, daughter of the late Charles 'Buck" and Margaret Preston Franklin. She was raised in Elkton and Claymont where she graduated from Claymont High School.  Audrey worked for Cecil County Public Schools as a substitute teacher for many years.  She also worked for the C & D Canal Museum.

Audrey enjoyed coaching Chesapeake City Girls Soft Ball, watching western movies, dancing, was an avid deer hunter, loved her Labrador retrievers, Dutch, Jett and Deuce, her luncheons with Fran, Mary Ann and Pattie and girlfriends and her time at the beach.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles 'Bucky' Franklin and Michael Howard and her stepson Justin T. Pearce.

Audrey is survived by her husband of 38 years, William 'Billy' Pearce; sons, Paul 'Butchie' Reburn (Kimberly) and Charles 'Chipper' Reburn (Leanne); stepchildren, Jill Cavaliero (Mark),  Wendy Sun (Lewis), Chris Pearce (Stephanie), Zachary Pearce (Robin) and Dena Harvey; sister Fran Fish (Don); 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Friday March 14, 2025 at 11 AM in St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 1687 Crystal Beach Rd, Earleville, MD 21919.
