Audrey Marie Clough, a longtime resident of Millington, MD, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020 at the age of 89.  She was born October 5, 1930 in Sudlersville, MD to Clarence Samuel and Helen Marie (Hurd) Solloway.

She enjoyed traveling and kept a bag packed, ready for the next adventure.  She was an avid reader and frequent visitor to the Sudlersville Memorial Library.   Mrs. Clough was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union in Henderson, MD.  Anyone fortunate enough to meet her, knew of her gentle kindness and love of God.  She truly loved her family and friends and enjoyed their visits.  She had a special place in her heart for her great grandchildren, Garrett, Grayson, Edie, Paisley, Loretta, Owen, Annabelle, Harrison and Bailey.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Harry Clough; a son, Harry Edwin Clough; a son in law, Michael Appenzeller and siblings, Louise Pearson, James Solloway, Robert Solloway, Betty Melvin, Patricia Solloway, and Shirley Legar.

She is survived by her children, Roy Clough (Cynthia Wingate) of Lincoln University, PA, Karen Clough (Garry) and Donna Appenzeller of Sudlersville, MD; grandchildren Erin Whiffen, Zachary, Jacob and Emily Clough and Joshua and Jeremy Appenzeller and 9 great grandchildren.   Siblings, Earl Solloway of Smyrna, DE, Fletcher Solloway of Sudlersville, MD, Clarence 'Jack' Solloway of Clayton, DE, Sharon Dempsey of Betterton, MD and Bonnie Lightcap of Greensboro, MD.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 28, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Crumpton Cemetery, Crumpton, MD.  In lieu of flowers contributions can be sent to her church, CCCU, PO Box 15, Henderson, MD 21640 or the Sudlersville Memorial Library, PO Box 112, Sudlersville, MD 21668
