Arthur Garcia Hollingsworth "Poopie was born March 28, 1970 at Union Hospital, Elkton, MD.  He departed this life on November 19, 2025 at Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE

He earned his education in the Christiana and Cecil County School Districts, where he graduated from Perryville High School in 1988. Affectionately known as Poopie.  He received his training in masonry at Cecil County Vo-Tech.

He was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed being with family and friends.  Everyone knew Poopie by his walk. He loved to party and have fun.  Never seen him without a Mountain Dew or Newport cigarettes.

He was preceded in death by his mom, Libby Jean Hollingsworth, grandmother Mary Morris, grandfathers Arthur Hollingsworth Sr. and Eugene Garnett.

Poopie is survived by one daughter, Naomi Hollingsworth (Nik) of Newark, DE, father Arthur Hollingsworth, Jr. (Bev) of Cecilton, MD, two sisters, Erica Hollingsworth of North East, MD and Shannon Gaylord of Perryville, MD; brothers Artemus Hollingsworth, Sr. of North East, MD and Terry Brown of Middletown, DE and one granddaughter Zara Stryminski.  He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, November 29 from 9 to 11 am at Five Rivers Church, 290 Whitehall Rd., Elkton, MD where funeral service will begin at 11 am.
