Anthony E. Fields, 63 of Warwick, MD passed away on July 7, 2020 at home.

"Fields" was born on March 3, 1957 in Elkton, son of the late Marshall James Fields and Emma Elizabeth Davis Gatewood.  He was a 1976 graduate of Bohemia Manor High School.  In 1980 he moved to Atlantic City, NJ, returning to Cecil County in 2004.  He worked as a concrete finisher for Hunter Concrete.  Fields was a member of Apostolic Fellowship Worship in Oxford, PA.  He loved going to yard sales, camping, fishing, entertaining and traveling to Texas.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a son Kevin Fields, a brother Franklin 'Peanut' Gatewood and a sister Marsha Fields.

Fields is survived by his wife of 1 ½ years Alice Webb Fields; his son Anthony Fields, Jr. (Keri) of Middletown, DE; his step-father, Franklin Gatewood of Cecilton brothers and sisters, Wayne Fields of Wilmington, DE, Marshall Fields (Lavinia) of Perryville, MD, Doreen Gatewood of Cecilton, Kevin Gatewood (Beverly) of Cecilton, Dionie Gatewood (Lamont) of Elkton, Troy Gatewood (Olivia) of Wilmington, DE, Mark Gatewood (Vicki) of North East and Laurall Gatewood of Cecilton; 5 grandchildren, Bria, Shakia, Spencer, Tanaysha and Tevyn; 2 great grandchildren, Tegan and Carter aunts Irene Waters, Ruth Boyer, Marie Moore, Henrietta Davis, Linda Davis, Victoria Davis, Sylvia Davis, Nellie Wilson, Gloria Jefferson, Doris Waters and Audrey Walker and best friends, Doreen Walker, Jerome Wright, Oscar Benson, Alvin Ruley and Mary Webb, devoted friends Marvin and Iris Newman and longtime friend Raymond Tomazine.  He enjoyed time spent with the 'boys' Zion Blue and Henry Blue, III.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, July 18 from 2 to 4 pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD.
