Anne F. Virdin, 83 of Dover, DE, passed away peacefully at home on May 29, 2023 following a short illness.

Anne was the daughter of the late John and Pauline Myers of Worton, MD and a 1958 graduate of Chestertown High School.

Anne was a homemaker and from 1974-2015, co-owner of Virdin's Tax Service with her late husband Russ.   In her free time she enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, listening to Country Music, gardening, watching birds and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Libby King and her husband Lyndon of Elkton, MD; son John O. Virdin and companion Heidi Walt of Dover, DE; sister Barbara Jacquette of Chestertown, MD; grandchildren, John R. Virdin, III, Colin Antes and Jaime Marshall; 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased in death by her husband Russ Virdin and brother John Henry Myers.

A viewing will be held at St. James United Methodist Church, 10965 St. James Newtown Rd., Worton, MD on June 9, at 10 am followed by the funeral service at 11 am   Burial will follow in St. James Church Cemetery.
