Anna Marie Gustafson, 92 of Chestertown, MD passed away on October 23, 2022 at the Resorts at Chester River Manor.

Mrs. Gustafson was born on May 5, 1930 in Walnut Point, VA, daughter of the late Howard and Vivian L. Balderson Elmore.  She worked in the meat department for A & P and later at the Chestertown Middle School cafeteria.  She enjoyed traveling.

Along with her parents, she was preceded by her 1 ^st husband Vernon Blackiston in 1988 and 2 ^nd husband Carl A. Gustafson, Sr., son in law John Mercer; 2 brothers, Howard and Barlett Elmore and 3 sisters Gladys Lucas, Margaret Booth and infant Elmore.

Mrs. Gustafson is survived by daughters, Lynn Mercer of Chestertown and Verne Brown (Fred) of Oak Hill, VA, 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Per Mrs. Gustafson's wishes there will be no services.
