Andre Darnell Walker, 44, of Galena MD passed away peacefully on Friday, August 7th, 2026.

Andre affectionately known as Dreddy, PacMan, even Hollywood was born on February 24, 1982, in Wilmington, DE to Dorren D Harris and the late Oscar D Bordley Jr.

Dre attended the Kent Public School system and graduated from Kent County High in 2001. While attending school, he was an all-around athlete, but he mostly enjoyed football, basketball and baseball. His traveling Little League baseball team was the first team to win the Babe Ruth State Championship, he was also the team's MVP; the billboard still stands in Worton Park. He was employed with multiple trades but loved working in the construction field.

Dre had a big personality that always made you laugh, whether it was him dancing or saying some funny phrase. He loved his clothes, sneakers and let’s not forget his sunglasses. He was an avid sports fan and loved the Baltimore Ravens. Above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his children, family and friends.

Dre was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, the late Dorothy Whittington and Johnnie Walker; his father Oscar D Bordley Jr, paternal grandfather the late Oscar D Bordley Sr ; a daughter Ty’Jae and older brother Oscar Bordley III.

He is survived by his mother Dorren D Harris (Brent); 4 children, Andre Jr, Ja’Merre, Adren and Avah Walker; three sisters LaKiesha Walker, Deshanna Walker and Tychelle Briscoe; Cousin/Big Brother Tearle Coates; Best Friend Tyray Valentine. Host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family and friends.

Dre will forever be remembered for his lively spirit, infectious laughter and the many lives he touched. He will be deeply missed as we carry him in our hearts.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, August 22 from 10am – 12pm at the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L Schaech, 118 W Cross St. Galena, MD where the funeral service will begin at 12. Burial will be held at the Olivet Hill Cemetery.
