Allen L. Coleman, 74 of Galena, MD, passed away on April 20, 2024 at Compass Hospice Center, Centreville, MD

Allen was born on February 11, 1950, son of the late Harvey Francis Coleman and Helen Louise Davis Coleman.  He was raised on a dairy farm near Chestertown and was a graduate of Chestertown High School Class of 1969.  Allen was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, obtaining the rank of Seargent.  After his honorable discharge he began his career with Fair Hill Farm as a herdsman, retiring in 2018 after 41 years of dedicated service. For several years he had worked at Andelot Farm.  Allen was a member of American Legion Post 246 Betterton and enjoyed shooting pool.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Ellie L. Debonis; infant son, Allen Coleman, Jr.; a brother Charles Coleman and a sister Carolyn L. Fleming.

Allen is survived by a sister, Mary F. Kendall, son Charles L. Coleman; 7 grandchildren and his Fair Hill Farm Family.
