Alicia Lynette Courter, age 81, passed away on December 30, 2024, in Elkton, Maryland. Born on November 20, 1943, Alicia dedicated her life to her family and her community.  As a loving wife to Dr. Arlo Courter and a devoted mother to her son, Christopher and daughter, Jill, she instilled love and kindness in all her interactions.  Alicia's joy was multiplied by her four cherished grandsons, Justin, Colin, Jacob and Evan.

Alicia's commitment to caring for others extended beyond her family. She served as a nurse, a profession through which she touched many lives with compassion and professionalism.  Her dedication to her faith was evident in her active membership at Zion Methodist Church in Cecilton, MD, where she participated in the church choir and ladies' group, enriching the lives of those around her with her spirit and enthusiasm.

Alicia leaves behind a legacy of love and service, mirrored in the lives of her three sisters, son in law Tim Harrison, daughter in law Kristal Courter and her extended family and friends.

A service to celebrate Alicia's life will be held on January 11, 2025 at 11 am at Zion Methodist Church, Cecilton, MD with a viewing from 10 to 11 am.  The family welcomes all who know Alicia to join in remembering her life and contributions.
