Alice Jean Lord, 61 of Barclay, MD passed away on January 11, 2022 at Shore Medical Center at Easton.

Alice was born on April 7,1960 in Chestertown, MD, daughter of the late James T. Lowe, Sr. and M. Elizabeth 'Betty' Seward Lowe.  She was a 1978 graduate of Queen Anne's County High School.  Alice began her 41 year career with Southern States and continued with Perdue as the grain operator clerk until her passing.  She was currently serving as president of the Sudlersville Lions Club and was a member of Barclay Assembly of God.  Alice enjoyed gardening, bowling, tractor pulls and camping.

Alice is survived by her husband of 40 years, William H. Lord, Jr. 'Willie'; her sister Elizabeth Deering (Larrie); brothers, Thomas Lowe, (Christy), Ronald  Lowe and Donald Lowe (Eva); sister in law, Susan Ervin; nieces and nephews, Angie Reese, Lee Thomas, Tony Lowe, Nicki McGinley, J.T. Lowe, Brandy Lowe, Rachel Lowe and Mary Ervin and several great nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on February 8, from 10 to 11 am in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, where funeral service will begin at 11 am.  Burial in Busic Cemetery, Barclay, MD.
